Router Trouble
« on: June 19, 2007, 08:37:40 PM »

I just love the spam thread k.

K I am trying to get a linksys wireless-G router to my PC but When I connect it all right and it says I have internet but I get this message and my AOL says it not connected.

I am not using Dialup.  If I do have DIal up am I screwed and just wasted $60 bucks on a router?

Are you sure the cable from port # 1 goes to the computer?

The one port by itself should be connected to the modem.  Wait, isn't AOL dialup?

Either you have Dial-Up, and make sure.... Or, really check that you connected everything properly..

Ok, is the internet reaaaaally slow? Does your comp make beeing noises when connecting?  If not,

you probably have something turned off either in bios or network connections maybe.  for ex, make sure the ethernet jack is not disabled some how.
