So this is what I typed in that thread that was started but some how disappeared.  It was in referance to what Dune had to say.  I don't know what had happen to it, or what, but apparently someone didn't like were it was going or what.  I don't know.

That is where self worth comes into play.  There is a difference in feeling that you are that and knowing.  What is the difference, confidence and your own feeling of self-worth.  You can know that you are only one person, but be happy with it.  Believe it or not, things you do alter other events in peoples lives.  It is one big chain.  There isn't some being that is pulling your strings like you are a puppet.  Take for instance you buy something at a store, and it is the last one, there is going to be someone else looking for that same thing and now they have to go to another store.  On the way to that other store alot of things can happen.  Which will alter someone else's life.  And the chain goes on and on and will never stop.  It has effects for years and years to come.  So, technically, you are not just a piece of sand floating in sheer nothingness.  You are kind of like a cog, or a gear in a big technical machine.  That machine is life and evalution.  With life and evalution, things have to adapt.   With that adaptaion comes mutation, and that is why we look and act the way we do.  I do beleive that humans are not done evolving.  We only use 10% of our brain copacity.  Just imagine what we can with that other 90%.  As we evolve and adapt we will find out.

What if Jesus is even real. Where did his body go? Someone pushed the heavy rock and just ran away with his corpse.

See now you are taking things from what people have wrote.  Where is the proof?  Really, where is the scientific proof that the rock was pushed?  Because it was written into a book.  See that is what happens when many years have passed and the bible gets translated into different languages.  Aribic was the language spoken back then, and some words don't have meaning in english as well as many other languages.  Things get lost and mixed up in translation all the time.  I am not saying there wasn't a man named Jesus.  I am sure there was.  Also if you see one man with a bunch of followers, what are you going to think?  You are going to think he has something important to say, that is why people are following him.  Just like Manson, and David Carish (the guy in Waco).  I am not comparing Jesus to these men, but think back in those days, there was lonely sheep farmers, and small villages spread throughout the region.  And just like I said, if a man comes with followers, people are going to be curouis to what he has to say, and if it sounds intelagient, then they will follow.  Also, back then, noone knew what science was.  They didn't really try and find the truth to what makes things what they are.  I am not going to say they were uneducated, but we know more today then any other time in history.  Well scientific, and we are studying history and to try and find out more about their beleifs and why they thought that.

Very true, the more importance you give to your life the more it makes it worth living. I just meant that if you truly believe in god, considering the vastness of the universe wouldn't it be slightly ridiculous to assume god would have any interest, with in the scale of things, one piece of bacteria(me) on one grain of sand(earth) floating in the endless space of the universe. I can easily effect other peoples lives but I don't believe I'm guided by any other force than my motivation to survive and breed like any other basic lifeform.

Even if you look at it like that, you have a major effect on this planet.  So techincly, if there is a god, he would have to have an intrest on everything that happens to his creations, so he would have to worry about even the smallest of living things.  Because, what may seem like a small wave in the us, can turn out to be a 50 foot swell in another part of the world.  It is called the ripple effect.

The thread was removed for a reason and I am not sure why (at this time I don't know why), so starting another one is going to start problems.

I did NOT remove the thread.

I think I know who did, but I don't know why.  It said adult debate and that was what was going on.  So if there is problem for discussing what is being discussed then I will take the heat round.  And if it means, me getting booted or seeing pink so be it.  I know I am really nothing in the clan, but I feel that the discussion was pretty good, and noone was pushing beliefs, it was just points from both sides.

If you are referring to what was said about me, you don't have to apologized, I understand the foul mood.  I don't take it personal.  I still love you.   :-* :-*

The Bible has more references of proof than any other book EVER written. It has over 600, the next in line is something like 65. And no I can't prove than, I'm not gonna take the time. If you want to find out if it's true research it.

So then your post was totally pointless.  It didn't help anything.  And actually I have read the bible, believe it or not.  I used to go to church and all that.  I do research before I go throwing things out there.  So, if the bible has over 600 references that are proven, then you should have no problem at least quoting one.  Right or wrong?  So here is where someone cops out and says, prove what the bible says isn't true.  I am not saying that there isn't truth to the bible.  I am sure there are many things in the bible that are true, since it is the oldest book, but like I have said, many things have been lost due to translation.

It wasn't pointless at all actually.  The point of it was to persuade anyone who wanted to learn more about the Bible to go and research it. Obviously it was pointless to you, that doesn't make it pointless to everyone.

Any by the way, no one look to me as if I'm a good Christian, because honestly I'm not at all. I'm sure you could all guess that too, but I do know God. What I can't stand the most in this world is people who are claiming to be Christians put ideas into peoples heads and give the whole Christianity thing a bad name.  Some of those that claim to be Christian's would profess that God hates gays, or God hates anything of that matter. The only thing God hates is sin. I'm not trying to be all preachy here, I just would like to share that just because someone says they are a Christian (and they very well may be) it doesn't mean they know all. Hell, I know very very little, but don't be deferred to Christianity just because you hear something questionable out of anyones mouth.

lol, i can't stand that either. It's so frustrating when people say stuff like, "ZOMG god hates teh gays, if ur is an faggots then you get rootbanned out of haeven, NO JOEK I HEARD IT ON THE INTERWEBS!!!!"

People who think like that should be permabanned, amirite?

@Bone, i'm pretty sure only Hellraiser and I were the only ones who were offended at what you said, and i just wanted to say no biggy man, everyone says something they didn't mean now and again. Don't sweat it.
