Do your test here in this thread before making a thread/post, this way you can check out your work here instead of making a thread that is messed upAs you can see at the bottom of this post, we now can embed YouTube videos. But there is a bit of a trick to it to make it work here, I will do my best to explain.
Example for the below video
1... Youtube code... Go to the youtube video you would like to post and hit the <Embed> icon to get the code, for this vid the code looks like this...
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CvF3pHyuRa0?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CvF3pHyuRa0?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
2... You don't need all the above code, look above to find just this
http://www.youtube.com/v/CvF3pHyuRa0?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0
<<< This is the only code needed, again for this video example.
Now post that code into your thread/post, like so...
http://www.youtube.com/v/CvF3pHyuRa0?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0
3... Look above at the "code icons", see the
icon? That is your "flash" icon to embed flash.
4... So to get your video to work, post the link like I said above, left click and drag to highlight the link, now click the "Flash Icon", it will look like below...
[flash=200,200]http://www.youtube.com/v/CvF3pHyuRa0?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0[/flash]
5... If you wish to make the video bigger (max on this forum is 800x600), all you have to do is change the
flash=200,200 numbers to something bigger, the 1st number is width and the second number is height, so to make it 800x600, it would look like this
flash=800,600I am sure you know how to center the video.
I think I explained it ok, if not let me know what you need to know.
The above should work for other video sites that give you embedded code to do so.
