After I watched this clip, it got me thinking how the world would be different without them. If the nuclear weapons were never invented, the Japs *could have* won World War II. There most likely wouldn't of been a Cold War. We wouldn't have to worry about the world coming to an end by mankind's power. If a country slips and attacks us with nuclear weapons, we will retaliate back and launch nukes at them. There would be no good ending coming from that.

Nope it would have never happen that way, the Japs would not have won. The Germans would have world power and "maybe" if the Japs were lucky they would be answering to the Germans.

This type of powerful weapon would have come about sooner or later. Lucky for us, we made it 1st (by the way with help from Germans that came here right at the start of WWII)

If we (USA) didn't come up with the Bomb 1st, then Hitler would have had it and none of us would have been talking about it right now (in more ways then one).

With all the countries that have the bomb that is what stops all from using it.

wow, this video is really depressing.

and ya, the japanese would not have won WWII w/o us using a nuke. They didn't have the technology or man power, and their army was falling apart at the end of '45.

Plus the front lines were reaching their home island, they would have surrendered eventually, but at the cost of more US lives with a beach landing on Japan. Either way a lot of people would have died, either a lot of US soldiers in an invasion of japan, or a lot of japanese people with the use of the nuke. A huge bummer either way you look at it.
